Salary Range:
$73,900 - $142,300
*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
What Your Job Will Be Like:
We are seeking a Quality Systems Professional to support our innovative team!
On any given day, you may be called on to:
-
Support subsystem systems engineering, project management and documentation specialist competency team on execution and process improvements for complex ground system development and delivery.
-
Collaborate with the Program Office and system-level Quality partners as well as those responsible for developing, testing, and implementing the system and its elements.
-
Enable continuous performance improvement activities using Plan-Do-Check-Act and defect prevention principles and methodologies.
-
Support execution and sustainment of Risk and Opportunity Management Plan.
-
Support retention of external certification (AS9100D) of the quality management system.
-
Develop and manage performance metrics and conduct data analysis to evaluate the success of end-to-end processes and quality improvement initiatives. Monitor trends and reports on performance results.
-
Contribute to strategic planning activities and facilitate management reviews.
-
Ensure operation and continuous improvement of document control and records management processes.
-
Facilitate the onboarding of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team during rapid growth period supporting new acquisition program.
Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
Qualifications We Require:
-
Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Management of Information Systems or other relevant field, plus five (5) years related experience; Or Master's degree as stated above, plus one (1) year of related experience

Experience with design and implementation of quality assurance or software systems
-
Experience working in an Agile environment as a Product Owner or Certified Scrum Master
-
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance
Qualifications We Desire:

Experience in some of the following:

Applying Quality Tools (e.g., RCA, Statistics, Lean methodology, Six Sigma)
-
Auditing and assessing processes and systems (AS9100D)
-
Agile software development methodologies including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) processes and tools (Rally)

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as GENESYS or MagicDraw
-
Understanding of the full product development lifecycle

Demonstrated skill in conducting benchmarking, investigating alternative solutions, and recommending solutions for problems that affect performance results

Proven leadership skills, including the ability to develop and articulate a strategic plan and successfully complete it to deliver desired results

Ability to work effectively with other organizations, functions, project sponsors, customers and suppliers

Organizational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize and complete tasks in a high-pressure environment

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify creative solutions

Active DOE or DOD security clearance

We develop operational monitoring systems in support of the US and International nuclear monitoring and non-proliferation mission with particular focus on US Nuclear Detonation (NuDet) Detection System (USNDS) ground systems. From basic research and development to fully deployed operational data processing and analysis systems, the organization specializes in software feature development, machine learning, analytics, algorithm development and data analysis.
