Head Tracking & Mapping: Computer Vision / Machine Learning, Systems and Software Eng. roles: Candidates bring a deep understanding of computer vision and machine learning algorithms and technologies that are necessary building blocks of interactive, real-time, and immersive systems, including SLAM, 3D pose tracking, 3D scene understanding, human pose tracking, sensor fusion and mathematical optimization. They also have experience in designing solutions and implementations for real-time embedded and mobile platforms. - Development of efficient and accurate computer vision and machine learning solutions for XR perception tasks
- Understand and analyze requirements for perception systems for XR platforms
- Collaborate across functional boundaries in defining architecture, APIs, design and schedule

3D Reconstruction: Machine Learning and Software Eng. roles : Candidates bring a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms that are necessary building blocks of interactive, real-time, and immersive systems, including SLAM, 3D pose tracking, 3D scene understanding, human pose tracking, sensor fusion and mathematical optimization. Ideally, they also have experience in designing solutions and implementations for real-time embedded and mobile platforms. Responsibilities: - Participate in exciting new initiatives, solve problems, grow technical insight and deliver energy efficient, high-quality 3D computer vision algorithms
- Apply Machine Learning and Deep neural networks to solve complex 3D computer vision tasks
- Design, implement and optimize vision and neural network processing pipelines and algorithms on Qualcomm’s SoCs and platforms.
Software development engineers interact closely with computer vision and deep learning engineers and software developers in a world-class XR team with a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: - Closely collaborate with product owners and domain/technology experts to integrate/validate software in a larger system.
- Debugging in different software environments and on hardware. You will need to interact closely with internal teams and potentially support/work with external customers.
