XEI Scientific has a position for developing the next generation of Evactron remote plasma cleaners for SEMs and High Vacuum Chambers using our patented external hollow cathode plasma radical sources and systems. Needed skills lie at the intersection of RF engineering, high vacuum engineering and Chemical Physics. Must be able to design impedance matching networks and to use Smith charts. High Vacuum assembly and design skills needed. Understanding plasma generation and flowing afterglows and roles of electrons, ions, radicals, and metastables is needed. SEM and charged beam instrument experience helpful
Advanced degree and experience needed in Physcis, electronic engineering, or chemistry. Experience with high vacuum instruments such as SEMs and TEMs wanted. XEI Scientific is located Redwood City, CA and housing cost assistance may be available to qualified candidates.
