The City of Olathe is actively seeking an Environmental Services Manager responsible for leading and controlling the operations of the Environmental Services Division. The scope of this role has oversight for state of the art facilities, which includes, laboratory services, plant maintenance, wastewater treatment and water production. Also has management oversight for the industrial pre-treatment program.
Plan, direct and coordinate through subordinate personnel, the Environmental Services business plan including assigned projects and programmatic areas.
Oversees water and waste water treatment plant operations and testing to comply with all state and federal regulators.
Remain current and compliant with all environmental mandates.
Ensure all customer services requests are resolved; respond to public inquiries in a courteous manner, resolve complaints in an effective and timely manner.
Coach/lead, motivate, engage, develop and evaluate assigned personnel.
Represents assigned program areas to all internal and external stakeholders, including City Council.
