TWN is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer, with a specialty discipline in Passive Optical Networking and Optical Fiber OSP (any state), for an immediate position, located at TWN headquarters in Oldsmar, FL. TWN will also fund the successful candidate’s further licensing application(s) and process in states where licensing is required for TWN purposes.
Reviews all automated optical distribution network (ODN) designs, and reconciles high-level designs to service territory (i.e. Field Validation, crossings, etc.) using digital construction platform and existing GIS infrastructure data.
Assesses Make Ready Engineering for all projects. Coordinates RoW permitting as required, interacting with municipal and state authorities.
Reviews and approves low-level ODN designs prior to blue-printing.
Reviews, approves and coordinates design change management and re-blueprinting of ODNs as required.
Performs layer-1 network certification as TWN Subnets and subsections come online.
