Genuine Parts Company seeks Sr. Site Reliability Architect in Atlanta, GA to provide technology leadership across multidisciplinary stores systems development team to build the systems tools and processes required to quickly deliver quality e-commerce solutions. Includes building automation of Infrastructure, Configuration, Deployment of infrastructure, Build/test/deploy/release of code. Position is responsible for writing/providing the code for Infrastructure and Configuration utilizing Linux, JAVA, JBoss, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Scala; Bash, Python, Ruby. Interface between development teams and operations teams to lead the migration of existing Backoffice Systems processes to an iterative platform to provide best in class solution for NAPA stores. Provide operation support and oversight for application performance and site reliability for large enterprise organization. Deploy and maintain healthy, performant, compliant platforms (Linux, dependencies, application servers, database). Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines. Utilize scripting and programming languages on various platforms to integrate infrastructure and current trends in Web technology with other software applications and enterprise systems.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or foreign equivalent and 5 years of progressive experience working with enterprise level software. Must have worked in a Cloud platform for at least 3 years, with hands on experience migrating on-premise Applications into Cloud infrastructure. Experience must include CICD pipeline creation, writing Infrastructure as a code, Python, Shell scripting, Kubernetes and working with Linux systems in Agile/LEAN, SRE environment.
