The BAE Systems site in York, Pennsylvania is seeking a Quality Engineer: Metrics/EVMS to support Combat Vehicle Programs.
In this role, the Engineer will:
Analyze quality inspection data to determine trends;
Create metrics, charts, and dashboards to illustrate current and projected states;
Formulate common methods of data capture across multiple programs;
Interface with Program Quality Assurance to create common work packages and establish earned value criteria;
Monitor and report on Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for Quality efforts across multiple programs;
Collaborate with team members to create, document, and standardize Quality processes and activities.
Familiar with the Earned Value Management System;
Must be computer proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Power BI;
Ability to capture quality and financial data and create dashboards for further analysis;
Great attention to detail;
Solid communication skills.
Preferred but not required:
Experience working within a manufacturing environment a plus.
