RadiaSoft is seeking a computational scientist/engineer or a scientific software developer to work with PhD scientists in a research and contract R&D environment. Most of the work is open source via GitHub and other public repositories and often leads to co-authorship on publications and conference presentations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Timely and correct completion of assignments with minimal oversight is expected, in both individual and team settings. The duties include optimization of legacy scientific codes for HPC, development of new algorithms and extension of legacy codes, development and use of nonlinear optimization algorithms on supercomputers, improvement of scientific workflows and visualization, as well as debugging of complex compilation, installation and code execution errors in a Linux environment.
