The Operations Research Analyst will be responsible for research analysis, re-engineering, and documenting of the code base of existing legacy applications, databases, services, processes, and other components, of the company's current information system. Based on performance research and analysis, he/she should determine the possibility of migrating system components to the new technology platform and optimal scenarios of expanding their functionality to meet current business requirements. Design and develop the prototypes and proof of concepts for the migration process based on analysis of existing on the market solutions to satisfy long-term exploitation, integration, reliability, scalability of company's information system. Create and test the processes of integration and migration of all legacy applications to the new platform. Responsible for creating UML diagrams, documentation and the database schemas using UML Data Modeling and CASE tools (Visual Studio, Toad Data Modeler, Enterprise Architect, Rational Rose, Erwin Data Modeler, Microsoft Visio). Will design and implement ETL mechanisms of transformation and exchange between heterogeneous data sources and developing tools and utilities to validate and calculate data, parse complex input files in various formats
Required: Significant experience in working with legacy code written by using VB.NET, VBA, C#, Bash, PowerShell, XAML, T-SQL, PL-SQL. Solid experience in .NET technologies stack: C#, VB.NET, VBA, Silverlight, .NET Framework 2+, .NET Core, ASP, ASP.NET, MVC 3/4/5, WebAPI, WCF, Entity Framework. Proven experience in database technology: MS SQL Server, T-SQL, MS DTS/SSIS, PL/SQL Experience in front-end technology and scripting: AngularJS/2+, JQuery, PowerShell, Bash. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Waterfall model, Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodology, TDD and DDD. Experience in, integration and end-to-end tests by test framework such as MSTest, Mock, NUnit. Must be a Microsoft Certified Professional. Must have a Master of Science degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Information Systems plus two years of experience as an Operations Research Analyst.
