By using this website, computer.org, including jobs.computer.org, and all linked iterations thereof (hereinafter the "Site"), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not, under any circumstances, use the Site.
These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between the IEEE Computer Society (''IEEECS'') and employers, job posters, hiring organizations, and their recruiters, agents, employees, contractors, and representatives (collectively referred to hereinafter as "Employer") who access the Site for any reason.
The resume database is reserved for companies who are evaluating and hiring professionals for their companies. Third party agencies are not allowed to purchase resume access at this time. Our database is not intended to be used by companies and/or individuals for marketing purposes. Misuse of our Site may result in your database access being inactivated with no refund given.
IEEECS makes no representation or warranty of any kind concerning reliability or accuracy of information provided directly or indirectly on or through the Site. All information is provided on an "as-is" basis. Users of the Site do so at their own risk.
IEEECS screens ads appearing on its job boards. IEEECS reserves the right to remove any job posting for any reason, including for noncompliance with these Terms and Conditions. If a job posting is removed (the 'Removed Posting'), IEEECS will determine, in its sole discretion, whether the Removed Posting may be reinstated with revisions. Employer shall cooperate with IEEECS in making any adjustments or revisions necessary to bring the Removed Posting into compliance with IEEECS' internal standards. Upon satisfactory revision, IEEECS may, but is not required to, reinstate the Removed Posting. If IEEECS determines that the Removed Posting must be removed in its entirety, IEEECS will provide the Employer with a prorated refund for the Removed Posting. Nothing in this section shall be construed to create any obligation or liability on the part of IEEECS with respect to Employer's job postings.
IEEECS is not responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, completeness and removal by a company of any employment information or opportunities that are placed by said company or of any resume information posted by a candidate, on the Site.

Employer also acknowledges that IEEECS does not verify the identity of any individuals posting their own content on the Site and that they may not be who they purport to be or may otherwise be acting under false pretense. User content may also be inaccurate, harmful, offensive, or in violation of policies governing user content set forth in these terms and conditions. It may also be deceptively labeled. Employer agrees that it is Employer's own responsibility to exercise caution and to act prudently when using the facilities provided by the computer.org website.

Employer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IEEECS, its members, directors, and employees and hold them harmless from any cost, claim, liability or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and related costs) arising out of or relating in any manner to your (i) violation, or alleged violation, of this agreement or (ii) use of the Site. US federal government facilities posting are exempt from indemnifying the Site.
Employer agrees to release IEEECS, its members, directors, and employees from all claims, causes of action, lawsuits, liability, damages or other responsibility, known and unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, from the beginning of time until the present, arising out of your use of any IEEECS website or the content contained therein. If you are a resident of California, you hereby agree to waive section 1542 of the California Civil Code which provides as follows: "A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by him must have materially affected his settlement with the debtor."

These conditions shall be governed by and in accordance with laws of Maryland. Unless otherwise noted, US federal government facilities are governed by federal legal statutes.
If any of these conditions shall be determined to be unlawful, against public policy or void for any reason, it is agreed such provision shall be deemed severed from the rest of the conditions and shall not be made a part of this agreement, while the remainder of the agreement remains in full force and effect.
This agreement represents the entire agreement between Employer and IEEECS relating to the subject matter of the foregoing and cannot be modified except as provided for hereinabove or in writing signed by an authorized representative of IEEECS.
